Colson Kelly (aka Machine Gun Kelly) is a rapper with a distinct style. Baker was born into his English Scottish German family in Houston Texas U.S.A., on the 22nd of April in 1991. As a child Baker spent a large deal of time traveling along with his parents who were missionaries. The dad James Colson Baker struggled with depression and joblessness and his mother Sonia Alane left them when at the age of nine. Baker and his father relocated to Denver, where they lived at the house of his aunt's father. The other kids of the neighborhood bullied Baker for being poor. In sixth grade, Baker started listening to hip-hop. Colson Kelly was born as Machine Gun Kelly on April 22, 1989 in Texas. The rapper is most well-known for his rock-infused hip hop and contemporary alternative. Baker released four mixtapes prior to joining Bad Boy Records between 2007-2010. After delivering lyrics faster than bullet trains, this Cleveland rapper experienced a swift rise to fame in 2011. The rapper went from releasing self-released cassettes, to being signed to labels. Over the next few years, every single album of his charted at number 10.
