Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell (born 25th August, 1949) is an American TV chef who is a popular personality. Burrell was also a former instructor of the Institute of Culinary Education. Anne W. Burrell is the host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef for Food Network. Food Network, as well as co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, a Food Network celebrity with her signature spiky blonde hair and a bubbly personality, reveals simple techniques to master and reduces the fear of eating at restaurants on her TV show Secrets of a Restaurant. Chef Burrell has worked and studied in the best New York restaurants. He also battled Iron Chef America and the culinary landscape of Italy. As a youngster, growing up in New York's upstate region, Burrell became passionate about food and cooking. After obtaining an English and Communication diploma in Canisius College in Buffalo NY she was able to pursue her love of the business of restaurant by enroling at The Culinary Institute of America. I enjoyed every moment during my time of The Culinary Institute of America she states. The Culinary Institute of the Americas was an excellent place to study. After graduating at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners Chef Burrell was able to spend a whole year in Italy studying and working at La Taverna del Lupo restaurant located in Umbria and La Bottega del 30 one Michelin rating in Tuscany. The time she spent in Italy helped her to understand and appreciate Italian way of life and its culture which has had an impression on her perception of food. Burrell was the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board members, which strives to enhance the quality of life for children who face obstacles. Burrell also serves as a Juvenile Disease Research Foundation (JDRF) celebrity spokesperson and promotes awareness about the dangers of childhood diabetes. Burrell speaks on her culinary passion and shares her knowledge of the culinary world when she is in the United States for both her roles as mentors and speakers. Through her culinary adventures, Anne often says that she feels so lucky to be able to share my passion for life with people.
