Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. She started her career by playing supporting roles in the teenage comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). In the FX series Dirt, she played Willa McPherson as reporter. She also played the role of a support character on the show with a short run The Ex List. In the initial season, she played the role of Moira O'Hara as a teenage Moira and in the following season, she was Kaylee. She played Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She is also the voice of various characters in the comedy show Family Guy. Since her appearance in 2019, she has been starring in the role of Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was raised in Darien in Connecticut. She moved to California with her mother when she was of 10. They lived in various places for one year before finally settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 years old when she started to develop an interest in photography, acting and singing. At the age of 15, she and her mother moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career.
